Terms of Service
Last updated: March 7, 2026
1. Acceptance
By using RenderLens ("the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
RenderLens is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that provides three tools: render (screenshot generation), audit (accessibility and quality auditing), and diff (visual comparison). The service is currently in free beta.
3. Access
During the free beta, the service is available without registration or API keys. Access is rate-limited per IP address (100 calls/month). API keys will be required when paid plans are introduced.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit code designed to exploit, attack, or compromise the service infrastructure
- Attempt to access other users' data or bypass authentication
- Use the service to render content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
- Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
- Exceed reasonable usage patterns (automated abuse, DDoS-like behavior)
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.
5. Usage Limits
During the free beta, each IP address is allowed 100 calls per calendar month across all tools (render, audit, diff). There is no billing or payment during the beta period. Paid plans with tiered pricing will be introduced in the future.
6. Code Submissions
You retain all rights to code you submit. We do not store, claim, or derive any rights from your code. Code is processed transiently in an isolated browser environment and discarded immediately.
7. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RenderLens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, regardless of the cause of action.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Intellectual Property
The RenderLens service, branding, and documentation are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission. The source code is available under its respective license on GitHub.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with reasonable notice when practical. During the free beta, you may simply stop using the service at any time.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Italy.
